Darnell Falls is east of Rabun Gap. From the post office on US-441/23 in Rabun Gap, go east on Kelly Creek Road, about one mile. Then, take Darnell Creek Road to the right. At about 0.3 miles, you'll see a sign for Chestnut Mountain Road, forking to the left. Take that about 0.3 miles, to another fork, where the main road goes to the left; park where you can, and walk down the road/trail to the right, alongside the creek. The falls is found at the end of the trail, just a few hundred yards from the road.
