Blue Hole Falls and High Shoals Falls

Blue Hole Falls
These are two adjacent sets of falls on High Shoals Creek, on the west side of Tray Mountain.

High Shoals Falls

From our cottage . . .

West on US-76 to the outskirts of Hiawassee, then south on GA-17-75, about 6.5 miles. Look for gravel road (Indian Grave Gap Road, FS-283) on the left, sign "High Shoals Scenic Area". Proceed about 1.3 miles on this road, fording a creek near the start, to the trailhead on the left. Trail is about a mile downhill; first falls encountered is Blue Hole, then downstream to High Shoals. Refreshing dip, in the summer.
